The National Women’s Football Club Championship 2024, Round Two continued at Jinnah Sports Complex for a third day with two more fixtures..
In Group A, Hazara Quetta WFC displayed their dominance on the field with a commanding 7-0 win over JAFA WFC.
Farishata was the star of the match, scoring five goals and leading her team on the scoresheet against the Lyari-based JAFA side. Sadiqa and Farzana also scored each to secure the Balochistan club’s first win of the second round.
The second match of the day for Group B saw Lahore’s TWK get their first win of the second round. Diya FC of Karachi were at the receiving end of a 13-0 scoreline.
Anushay Usman led the charge with four goals, while Aqsa followed with three goals of her. Anmol Khan and Anmol Hira each scored twice while Ayda added one more to complete the emphatic win for TWK.
Tomorrow, 5 August, sees two more matches in action at Jinnah Sports Complex with 5pm kickoffs. Highlanders face Karachi United in Group A while Legacy face Karachi City in Group B.
