The 2024 National Women’s Football Club Championship saw Karachi City and Karachi United top their respective Round Two groups, barely a day after confirming their semifinal spots at the Jinnah Sports Complex.
Karachi United eased past JAFA 6-0 to top Group A with 3 wins out of 3 games. Marsha Malik scored a hattrick, Eshal scored a brace, while Ayesha scored one.
In Group B, Karachi City overwhelmed Diya WFC 16-0 in another one sided game to also finish as group winners with 3 wins out of 3 games. Naqiyah Ali scored 6 goals, Zulfia Nazir scored a hattrick, Rameen Fareed and Nadia Khan scored two each, while Sana, Suha Hirani and Zara scored a goal each.
On the expected last day of NWFC Round Two, Hazara Quetta face Highlanders FC in Group A while TWK take on Legacy in Group B. The winners of both games will confirm their semifinal spots that are meant to take place on 8 August.
