Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) is still trying to get No-Objection Certificate (NOC) for the women’s team tour to Singapore, sources told Geo News.
Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) had already refused to issue NOC for Singapore tour.
PSB’s letter to PFF mentions that federations are required to submit all relevant documents for government clearance at least six weeks before the departure date.
A source in PFF had wondered how PSB can expect a federation to send documents for NOC even before the tour is confirmed.
Despite denying issuing the NOC, PSB has sent a summary to the concerned ministry. PFF is hopeful to get positive news from the ministry. The football’s governing body is also ready to play only a match if the NOC is delayed.
If the NOC is not issued, Pakistan women’s football team will miss the opportunity of playing international games during the FIFA window.
Last month, the PFF had to wait until the last minute for NOCs to tour Mauritius and India.
