Lyari Brothers enter into final of KYI COCA COLA LYARI FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP – 2014 after beating Wahab XI on sudden death penalty shoot out 6-5 at Hassan Olia Ground, KMC Flats, Trans Lyari being organised by Karachi United Football Foundation.
The match remained goalless at full time. To make the match decisive on penalty shoot out in which Lyari Brothers kickers Nasir, Ubaid, Khalil, Ibrahim, Anwer and Amir converted while Naveed Jadgal, Umair, Abid, Zaheer and Zahid netted successfully. Lyari Brothers will meet Bijli Spors/Young Tughlaq in the final to be played on 19.4.2014.
The Last quarter final played between Young Tughlaq and Baloch Mohammedan. Young Tughlaq defeated Baloch Mohammedan 2-0. Zohaib Ahmed netted 17th minute and Ubaid Ahmed scored in 55th minute.
Referees Dil Murad, Abdul Malik, Nazeer Baloch, Abdul Rauf while Zamir Mushtaq was Match Commissioner.
