Lahore, 22 April: WAPDA lost to Taiwan Power Company 0-3 at Halchowk Stadium while Turkmenistan club FC Balkan overwhelmed Nepal Police Club by two goals to nil at Dasarath Rangasala Stadium in 7th AFC President’s Cup today.
Taiwanese led 1-0 at interval and goals were struck by Kuao-Kai Pan 41, Yi Wei Chen 55 and Ming Chan He 65.
The result leaves Nepal Police Club knocked-out of contention for top 2 spots, while WAPDA have uphill task to win their final game against Balkan in order to qualify for next round.
