Lahore, 14 February: Pakistan Olympic team will play their third warm up match on 15 February on Tuesday against Thai Premier League team Osotspa at Saraburi Football Club Stadium. The club, based in Saraburi province, appeared in the AFC Cup 2007, the Asian equivalent of the UEFA Cup.
It will be confrontation between Tariq Lutfi and Pairoj Borwonwattanadirok as coaches while the two captains will be Jetsada Puanakunmee and Jadeed Khan at 6000-capacity Saraburi Stadium, home stadium of Osotspa Saraburi and Saraburi FC of Regional League Division 2.
Pakistan U21 team is currently under preparation at National Training Field of Nong Jok and completed eight days of their Camp at Thailand. The match against Osotspa will be tough as the team is comprised of home-grown players plus professionals from Algeria, Japan, Brazil, South Africa, Cameroon and Nigeria.
Pakistan also faced the same opposition under Chinese coach Wang Ziao He in the build up to 9th SAG Islamabad 2004. The Thailand-based Camp will run until 20 February 2011 at the same Nong Jok venue and Pakistan Olympic team will headed off for Malaysia on 21 February (1 PM) through Thai Airways TG 417 flight from Bangkok, Suvarnabhumi.
