From the FPDC forums
FPDC forum members came up with a new competition this year, the PPL Predictor League. The participants needed to predict the outcomes and scores of the next days PPL and PFF League fixtures, and also name a player who you’ll think would score a goal in that round. One point for every correct result, one extra point each for correct score and scorer!
The participants took part in it with great zeal and zest and in the process also built up their knowledge of Pakistani Football!
Our champion of the event is FPDC regular and Ex-Wohaib FC youth team player Majid Ur Rehman with a mammoth total of 77 points. Our senior forum member Waheed Nagra gave him a run for his money and came second with 72 points. Waheed lost a few points due to his constant support for his beloved PMC Club Athletico who couldn’t perform too well this season and only avoided relegation on the last day.
Mast Qalander(Israr) missed a lot of rounds but made an amazing surge at the end by getting 70 points for third place. Abdul Sid and Gauhar Mahmood Azeem had mid-season slumps and could only finish joint 4th on 68 points. Assaam Sani’s exams cost him a few rounds, he is fifth with 49. Suprah is in love with the walk-over culture in Pakistani Football, he no-showed many rounds and finished last, most certainly the least, on 24 points.
Keep on reading the FPDC forum https://www.footballpakistan.com/forum/ for more predictor competitions coming in 2011.
