Pakistan beat Islamabad Combined XI

KARACHI: Pakistan football team thrashed Islamabad Combined XI by 6-0 in their practice match at the Jinnah Stadium in Islamabad on Thursday night. Pakistan are preparing for the Asian Games to be held next month in China. In the match held under floodlights, Pakistan were leading 2-0 at interval. Midfielder Mohammad Tauseef scored hat-trick while Quetta-born Kaleemullah struck two goals. Yasir Afridi, the cousin of Test cricketer Riaz Afridi, landed one goal. Pakistan will face Army and another local team of the federal capital in the next three days before they would fly to Karachi and from here they are scheduled to leave for China on November 4.
