GSUFA’s Chief Executive Sheikh Mohammad Siddique Qadri who represented Pakistan National Football team in 12th Asian Cup football at Doha, Qatar in 2000
Lahore-born Qadri, who recently passed the AFC C-License Coaching Course at Lahore, termed the series as ‘successful’ and praised the efforts of his boys who played well and won the heart of spectators with sportsmanship and discipline. Qadri also praised the hospitality given by Pardis FA’s Chief Executive M.H.Fakharri, famous AFC Instructor coach Majid Jalali and other officials of Academy.
Qadri was also coach of the team during the series while striker Muhammad Mujahid Ali Khan acted as skipper supported by Awais Khan as Vice Captain. The team was comprised of Hassan Saleem Khan, Zain ul Islam and Muhammad Naveed who put up fine display in AFC U13 Festival of Football last April at Dhaka, Bangladesh . Other players were Ghulam Fareed Awan, Aleemul Haq, Muhammad Munib, Muhammad Waqas, Zubair Qaiser, Fahid Niaz, Subhan Naveed and Muhammad Ali. Former international coach Zahid Niaz acted as manager while Media Coordinator was Salim Khan
According to an agreement signed by both Academies, the first leg was task of Pardis while GSUFA will borne out the responsibilities of second leg next year. The persons behind the Football Academies Home and Away Series are two former international footballers Majid Jalali ( Iran) and Siddiq Qadri (Pakistan ).
