Focus on grass-root after Asian Games failure
Pakistan continued their poor show on the international circuit and returned home from the Asian Games within a week. The trip, financed by the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) following the Pakistan Olympic Association’s (POA) refusal to fund the squad, resulted in two losses out of three matches, eight goals conceded, none scored and a bottom-place finish in the Group.

Pakistan aim to get a result against Oman on Thursday in an attempt to set into 8th finals spot in the 16th Asian Games football tournament in Guangzhou. The match will take place on Thursday, 11 November at Guangdong People's Stadium during the football event held under Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) at Chinese city Guangzhou. It will be third and final match for both teams in Group F match kicks off at 4 PM PST.
