At Punjab University Old Campus ground in Lahore, Baloch FC Quetta stunned home side Wohaib FC with a late 1-0 win thanks to Zahid Ali’s 88th minute goal, giving Wohaib their first loss in the current 2nd division campaign. At same venue, FATA eased past Mansab FC Kharan 3-1 thanks to a 2nd half hat-trick from Wajid Ali. Mansab FC led 1-0 at half time thanks to Atta-ur-Rehman’s 33rd minute goal, but Wajid Ali struck 3 times in 9 2nd half minutes (58′, 61′, 68′) to help FATA win 3-1 in the end.
At Korangi Baloch Stadium in Sharafi (Karachi), Sui Southern Gas Corp (SSGC) held Pakistan Steel 0-0 while Pakistan Public Works Department edged past Ashraf Sugar Mills (Bahawalpur) 2-1. ASM scored first through Muhammad Azeem after 34 minutes, but PPWD responded with goals from Muhammad (48′) and Junaid (87′) to win the tie in the end.
