The entire Pakistan football fraternity is in deep sorrow on the sad demise of the coach of SUI SOUTHERN GAS football team. He was FIFA referee who also served Pakistan Football as Match Commissioner and Referee Assessor on several occasions. From officials to
fans, from journalists to students, his alma-mater, all are grieved at this devastating news.

He remained with PIA Football Team for quite some time as their Coach and reasoned their Victories to become the National Champions of Football 6 times in the National Football Championships held in years 1971,1972, 1975, 1976, 1978 & 1981.

According to the press release issued here by Pakistan Football Federation (PFF), President PFF, Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat in his condolence message said that I was deeply saddened by the death of Syed Karim Ud Din.

This must be very difficult for all football lovers and players. He will remain in my thoughts and my prayers. Syed Karim Ud Din was such a kind person, who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. I will remember his contribution for the development of football in Pakistan. The loss to the football is irreparable, and it will be very difficult to fill the vacuum created by the passing away of such a great football lover of Pakistan at this moment.

Secretary General PFF, Lt. Col. Red. Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi TM (I) said “I am shocked to learn on the sad demise of Syed Karim Ud Din. He was one of the best football coaches ever produced by Pakistan. I wish to express my deep sorrow, and sincerely sympathize with his family in this bereave moment.”
