Baku, Azerbaijan: Pakistan signed off with a commanding performance at the FIFA U-15 World Cup & Festival 2026, sweeping aside the Bahamas with a five-goal display led by a clinical attacking effort.
The Shaheens responded strongly following a disappointing loss to Nepal on penalties yesterday in their Tier F clash.
Kaleemullah opened the scoring in the 14th minute, capitalising on an error from a throw-in before placing the ball past the goalkeeper. Just a minute later, Shahraz Khan doubled Pakistan’s lead with a header from a cross delivered from the right.
The Shaheens continued to press, and defender Maqbool Ahmed made it 3-0 in the 27th minute, tapping home after a cross from the left struck the post. He added his second in the 36th minute with a thunderous strike from distance that left the goalkeeper with no chance.
Bakshi Hamal completed the scoring in the 39th minute following a swift counterattack. After winning the ball in the centre of the pitch, Pakistan broke forward in a two-versus-one situation, with Danish Masih drawing the defence before squaring the ball for Bakshi to calmly slot home.
Pakistan now play Cook Islands later tonight at 9:45pm PKT on Pitch 3A.
