LAHORE: A two-member Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) delegation visited Islamabad on Tuesday to assess the facilities at the Jinnah Stadium which will host the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers second round show between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia on June 6.
The delegation comprised Saudi Arabia team fitness coach Claudio Donatelli and manager logistics Musab Ibrahim. The delegation inspected the facilities and pitch quite thoroughly.
“Yes they inspected the ground and other relevant facilities including changing rooms,” a source told The News from Islamabad. “The floodlights have also been installed and I hope it will be a fine game,” the source said.
