QUETTA: Afghan FC Chaman and Jallawan FC Khuzdar have qualified for Ufone Balochistan Football Cup title decider, winning their respective semi-finals at Mali Bagh Football Stadium here on Wednesday.
In the first semi-final, Afghan FC Chaman defeated Afghan FC Pishin 1-0. Jadid Khan scored the decisive goal in the 45th minute.
In the second semi-final, Jallawan FC Khuzdar beat Faizullah Agha FC Quetta in a nail-biting penalty shootout. Khuzdar’s team dominated the first half as Riaz Khan scored in the 11th minute.
Quetta’s team scored an equaliser when Fateh struck in the 86th minute through a corner. By the full-time mark, both teams had scored one goal each.

QUETTA: Afghan FC Chaman captain Jadid Khan says football can improve lives of people, especially youth, by keeping them away from negative activities.
Afghan FC Chaman has reached the summit clash of the ongoing 3rd Ufone Balochistan Cup. “You can see all these people who have come to the ground only to enjoy football. See their passion and you can see a lot of youngsters here,” said Jadid while speaking to PPI.
The former Pakistan international added that the ongoing Balochistan Cup, which has been enjoyed by thousands of spectators, “sends the message of peace.”
