Karachi: The Final of 14th AKU Inter-University Football Tournament being organized by AKU Sports Centre will be played today, October 19th at 4:00 pm at the AKU Sports Centre Ground. Dr David Arthur, Professor & Dean, School of Nursing and Midwifery, AKU will grace the occasion and distribute prizes at 5:30 pm. The Final will be played between Institute of Business Management (IoBM) and host Aga Khan University (AKU).
The last two semifinal matches were played yesterday of the Tournament. The results were as follows:
SEMI-FINAL MATCH # 1
AGA KHAN UNIVERSITY (AKU) Vs SIR SYED UNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY (SSUET)
AKU won the match on penalty kicks, Score 7-5 Goals. At end of actual time, Score was 2-2 each.
Individual Goal Scorers
1. Omar Yacob 2 Goals (49th min and 1 on penalty). 2. Zulqarnain 1 Goal (13th). 3. Jibaran Fawad, Salman Khalil, Umair Bin Saif and Salman Faisal 1 Goal each (on penalty kicks). While 1. Moeed Khan 2 Goals (5th min & 1 on penalty). 2. Shoaib Ahmed 2 Goals (19th min & 1 on penalty) 3. Manay Khan 1 Goal (on penalty kicks). were scorers for the looser.

INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS MANAGEMENT (IoBM) Vs DOW UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES (DUHS)
IoBM won the match on penalty kicks, Score 5-3 Goals. At end of actual time, Score was 0-0 each.
Individual Goal Scorers
Hasnain, Anas, Zia, Hamza Younus and Imran 1 Goal each (on penalty kicks) for the winners. While Shahrukh, Sayam Jamal and Qasim 1 Goal each (on penalty kicks) were scorers for the looser.
The matches were supervised by Referees M. Saleem, Ansar Javed, Mufeez-ur-Rehman, M. Rafiq Official Scorer Sajjad Akbar and Match Commissioners Munawar Khan and Qamar Ali.
