KARACHI: Shahzaib – a footballer who represented Pakistan on international level – is among four suspects who were gunned down today’s morning in alleged encounter in Malir, Samaa reported.
Shahzaib represented Pakistan in two international football events in Iran and China in 2013.
The 15-year-old Shahzaib played as midfielder in Pakistan Football Under-14 team.
“Shahzaib was good and he was emerging as a star player. This news has shocked me,” his captain Uzair Sadiq said while exclusively talking to SAMAA.
Shahzaib’s family claimed he was sleeping in his sister’s residence at Malir, from where some persons in plain clothes took him with them and after few hours the family was informed that Shahzaib has been killed in an encounter.
