KARACHI: Kyrgyzstan-based Pakistani footballers will join the national team in Incheon after they failed to get multiple visas, a top official of Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) told ‘The News’ on Monday.
“Yes, they will reach Incheon directly from Bishkek on September 13 as they did not get multiple visas,” PFF secretary Col Ahmed Yar Lodhi said.
Captain Kaleemullah, winger Mohammad Adil and midfielder Saddam Hussain are playing for Kyrgzystan’s top club Dordoi Bishkek.
Pakistan team, currently undergoing training in Lahore, will fly out for South Korea on September 11 to feature in the Asian Games’ football slots which will be held from September 14 to October 3. Pakistan have been clubbed in Group F with North Korea and China.
