The 5th game of the Engro Vopak League began with Burma Mohammadan dominating Janbaz Sports from the start. After 14 minutes, Burma’s Anees Ahmed was replaced by substitute striker Noor Alam because of an injury and immediatly had an impact on the game. Just a minute later, Noor Alam latched onto a M Imran pass and scored to make it 1-0 to Burma Mohammadan. In 24th minute, Saifullah’s pass found winger M Imran who lobbed the ball over Janbaz Sports’ goalkeeper Rafiullah to make it 2-0.
Janbaz Sports day went from bad to worse when goalkeeper Rafiullah was sent-off by referee Khalid Mumtaz Jimmi for a second yellow card for dissent with the officials just before half-time. In 2nd half, despite being down to 10 men, Janbaz Sports battled hard to reduce the deficit but Samiullah and Muhammad Shakir failed to trouble Burma Mohammadan’s international goalkeeper Abdul Ghani with their well-crafted efforts.
Burma Mohammadan then scored 3 more goals in last 7 minutes of the game to win 5-0 at the end. In 83rd minute, midfielder Jaffar Ullah’s pass found Noor Alam, who scored to make it 3-0 with his second goal of the match.
