KARACHI: Baloch FC, Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) and Wapda won their Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) matches on Saturday.
Baloch FC beat Muslim FC 3-1 at the Nushki Football Stadium in Nushki. The goals for the winners were scored by Habibullah (21st and 61st mins) and Najeebullah (85th min) while Saeed Ahmed (66th min) reduced the margin for the losing side.
At the Jinnah Football Stadium in Islamabad, KRL beat Karachi Port Trust (KPT) 3-0. The goals for the winners were scored by Mohammad Qasim (39th and 45th mins) and Saadullah (62nd min). The win guarantees KRL of the 2011 Pakistan Premier Football League title.
Meanwhile, Wapda beat Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) 3-1 at the Railway Football Stadium in Lahore. The goals for Wapda were scored by Arif Mahmood (45+1 and 53rd mins) and Mohammad Afzal (48th min) and PIA’s Zeeshan Ali (70th min) reduced the margin for them.
