Usta Mohammad side Jeay Lal FC entered the quarters of the All-Sindh Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Football Tournament after beating Star FC Jamshoro 3-1 in a one-sided encounter at Govt. Degree College Ground in Dadu.
Goals from Saddam Hussain, Ishaq and Khan Qalat helped Jeay Lal FC race to a 3-0 lead before half-time. Star FC managed only one goal in 2nd half from Mouad Haider as Jeay Lal held firm for a 3-1 win at the end. The match was attended by Maula Bakhsh Mastoi (DDO Roads, Dadu District) as chief guest alongside Pervaiz Ahmed Chandio (EDO Finance, Dadu), Ali Haider Jamali (President, DFA Dadu), Master Riasat Ali, and Riaz Ahmed et al.
The win means Jeay Lal FC will now face Young Kalakot FC from Karachi’s Lyari Town in quarter-finals on Tuesday, 21 June 2011.
