The Govt. Degree College Ground in Dadu witnessed Al-Abbas FC (Rohri) ease past King Baloch FC (Nawabshah) 2-0 to qualify for next round of the All-Sindh Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Football Cup on 17.06.2011. Second Half goals from Ghulam Shabbir and Saddam Hussain saw Al-Abbas prevail over their Nawabshah rivals in the game.
After a score-less first half, Al-Abbas took the lead barely a minute into the 2nd half when Ghulam Shabbir scored from 20 years out, leaving King Baloch goalie Akbar Ali with no chance. Saddam Hussain then doubled Al-Abbas’ lead in 45th minute when he scored from a well-taken chance. King Baloch had a disappointing game with their strikers Abdus Sattar Baloch, Abdul Hafeez, and Shoaib Baloch failing to convert their chances because of atrocious finishing as Al-Abbas held firm for a 2-0 win at he end.
Referees were Niaz Baloch (Karachi), Saeed Baloch (Karachi), Abdul Majeed (Dadu), while match commissioner was Eid Muhammad Jamali (Khairpur). The match was witnessed by ADO Finance (Dadu) Pervaiz Ahmed Chandio, DFA Dadu president Ali Haider Jamali, tournament organising secretary Gulzar Ali Bhargarhi, Master Riasat Ali, and journalist Riaz Ahmed.
