Naeem Ullah stars for Raiders in semi-final win

Lahore, 29 March: Two spectacular first half goals by spearhead Naeem Ullah propelled host Raiders FC into final of All Punjab Raiders Football Cup 2011 at Raiders Football Club Ground, Faisal Town. They eliminated Pak Fighters 2-0 after two-nil ahead at interval. Model Town FC will face traditional rival Raiders FC in the final whose chief guest will be Malik Muhammad Afzal Khokhar (MNA).

Muhammad Asif-led Raiders were off to whirlwind start and took the lead in the 2nd minute. Fighters’s keeper Sajid failed to gather the attempt from Somalia-born Abdul Qadir and Naeem Ullah was on hand to sweep the ball in. The match was supervised by referees Shams Pervez, supported on line by Liaquat Shah and Younus Anthony.
