The District Football Association Faisalabad held its annual meeting 2011 on the 23rd of January 2011.. The representatives of 36 registered clubs of Faisalabad were present at the meeting held at Madina Town, Fsd.
The discussions included the football activities in the region during 2010 and looked forward to making the year 2011 better. The President DFA, Faisalabad, Mr. Muhammad Irshad chaired the event, while the secretary Mr. Aslam Butt was also present. The secretary presented the financial report of the DFA for 2010.
Those present showed full confidence in the existing President and General Secretary for the elections coming up this spring and want them to continue for the next 4 years after getting re-elected.
Members praised PFF President Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat’s efforts to promote the beautiful game in Pakistan. They thanked him for his efforts to promote club football culture in Pakistan.
The attendees also praised PMC Athletico Football Club Faisalabad’ President Saif Ur Rehman Bhatti for his efforts to promote the game. They congratulated PMC for surviving in the PPL this season, for representing Faisalabadi Football at the top level for 4 continuous years now and getting the right of vote in the PFF congress.
The DFA on the recommendation of Saif Ur Rehman Bhatti made an 8 member committee to help Mr. Bhatti organize the PFF Challenge Cup 2011. The tournament will be held at the Bohran Wali Ground, Faisalabad, in March. The top 7 departmental sides and the host side will take part in the competition.

Mr. Saif Bhatti introduced me to the meeting as the representative of FPDC at the meeting and informed everyone about the great contribution of the website and its staff for the promotion and management of football in Pakistan.
