Ghulam Abbas Baloch awarded honorary AFC Gold Medal by PFF

For his immense contributions to football over many years as a footballer and as administrator, the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) awarded Ghulam Abbas Baloch with an honorary gold medal from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Such a step by AFC will help boost the morale and profile of those involved in the game’s promotion across the country. Ghulam Abbas Baloch scored the first goal for Pakistan in Olympic qualification against Iran back in 1963. He was also appointed PFF General Secretary in 1995 as well as being the founding general secretary and current Chairman of the Sindh FA.

Karachi Football League chairman Rahim Bakhsh (Secretary Zone West), KFL organising secretary & veteran football journalist Riaz Ahmed, Member Central Zone Abdul Karim, Karachi United FC directors Taha Alizai, Adeel Rizki, Imran Ali, head coach Arshad Jamal, Chairman Futsal Promoters Asif Khan, FC Rovers manager Khalid Majeed, national referees Habibullah, Adnan Khan, Babar Khan and Saad Kazmi congratulated the Sindh FA Chairman Ghulam Abbas Baloch for his award in recognition for his services to football by the AFC. Karachi United FC announced that they will hold a huge ceremony in honour of the Sindh FA Chairman to celebrate and commend his AFC gold medal.
