Thanks to goals from man of the match Muhammad Hashim and Noman Dodo, Lyari Centre beat hosts Malir Centre 2-1 at Jam Stadium Malir to record their 2nd win of the 2010 Karachi United Youth Football League. The result leaves Lyari Centre with 6 points from 3 games while Malir Centre are still on 0 points from their 2 games played.
According to league administrator Riaz Ahmed, Lyari Centre took the lead in 11th minute when Noman Dodo’s powerful shot went past Malir goalkeeper Wasim and into the net. However Malir equalised in 18th minute thanks to Sanaullah who scored from a cross past Lyari goalie Arshad. The game was 1-1 at half time. In second half, the action intensified as both teams played hard for the winning goal. However in dying minutes of the game, Lyari striker Muhammad Hashim gave his team the winning lead after scoring from a difficult angle. His contributions made him the man of the match.
