KARACHI: “If I can sit in the team’s box in an international event then why I cannot sit in domestic competition,” the head coach of former champions WAPDA Khalid Butt said on Tuesday.
Khalid Butt, a former international footballer, has been stopped from sitting in the team’s box during the current Pakistan Premier Football League because he has no License C coaching certificate which is compulsory for coaching a side at the domestic level.
“I was allowed to sit in the box with my team as a head coach during the AFC President’s Cup in Kazakhstan last year and I wonder why the PFF have not allowed me to sit with my players in the box in the Pakistan Premier Football League,” Butt told ‘The News’ after WAPDA-Young Blood clash in Sahiwal on Tuesday.
