PFF Congress and NC members both seemingly backed each other on matters related to PFF elections during their meeting with the National Assembly Sub-committee on IPC.
PFF NC members met National Assembly Sub-Committee on IPC, assured them of completing PFF elections within next 2-3 months as long as PFF Congress approves FIFA-mandated amendments on 27 February.
Various MNAs grilled PFF NC chairman Haroon Malik for the selection criteria of women PFF Congress members, as well as bans imposed on the likes of Malik Amir Dogar and Sardar Naveed.
In addition to submitting a detailed report on PFF electoral process, NA Standing Committee on IPC also directed PFF NC to submit a list of all individuals banned by PFF and the reasons behind those bans.
Another controversy erupted on Tuesday in the lead-up to Pakistan Football Federation’s (PFF) most divisive elections in June when it terminated the services of Director Member Associations and Projects Col Farasat Ali Shah.
