The NA Standing Committee on IPC had called on PFF NC chairman to brief them about the district, provincial and federation-level election process.

There are fears that PFF electoral process could be derailed and could force FIFA to suspend Pakistan again because of third-party interference.
The purpose of the meeting was the amendment in the PFF Constitution Article 38 which carries the eligibility criteria for the PFF’s president.
NC, along with FIFA-AFC delegation, will propose the necessary amendments to the PFF Constitution and Congress will need to approve or disapprove by two-third majority.
