The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has announced the postponement of the PFF U-17 Championship 2026, which was scheduled to take place in Islamabad from 23 September to 4 October 2026.

The decision has been taken in view of the prevailing uncertainty in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, with the safety and well-being of all participating players, officials and stakeholders remaining the PFF’s foremost priority.

The championship was set to feature 11 provincial and regional teams from across Pakistan:

Punjab Potohar, Punjab Rohtas, Sindh Mehran, Sindh Indus, Balochistan Hingol, Balochistan Bolan, KPK Himalayas, KPK Khyber, Gilgit-Baltistan Karakoram, AJK Neelum and Islamabad Margalla.

The championship is part of the PFF’s efforts to revive and strengthen domestic football, expand opportunities for young players and build a stronger pathway for youth development across Pakistan.

The PFF will announce the revised dates for the championship in due course.
