KARACHI: PMC Athletico recorded their second victory of the season, beating Lahore’s Wohaib Club 1-0, while Muslim FC got a walkover against WAPDA in the 9th Pakistan Premier Football League held on Sunday.
At the UMT Ground in Lahore, Mohammad Yasir struck the winner in the 76th minute to inflate PMC Athletico’s tally to 17 points from 21 meetings.
The loss left Wohaib FC struggling in the relegation zone with eight points from 20 meetings.
Four-time champions WAPDA conceded 3-0 walkover to Muslim FC Chaman, as they have decided not to play their matches in Balochistan due to security fears.
The walkover catapulted Muslim FC to the second spot with 47 points from 25 matches while WAPDA have 26 points from 22 appearances.
