Pakistan WNT goalkeeper Zeeyana Jivraj made a number of saves across the 90 for the 2024 National Women’s Championship winners and was named MVP for the match. Karachi City are playing this event missing key domestic players due to National Games commitments back in Pakistan.

The other Women’s Club Championship saw hosts Nepal’s representatives APF FC hammer Bangladesh’s youthful Nasrin SA 4-0 to begin their title challenge. India’s East Bengal are the other team in this five-team tournament where all the domestic women’s football champions from across South Asia were invited to take part.

Karachi City now face Nasrin SA in the next fixture on 8 December.
