The Pakistan Football Federation is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Ali Imani as the Head Coach of the Pakistan Men’s Futsal National Team, marking a significant milestone in the continued growth of futsal in Pakistan.
Ali Imani brings decades of experience in futsal and football, both as a former international player and as a highly accomplished coach. Born in Tehran, Iran, he holds a PhD in Public Administration (Human Resources), reflecting a professional, modern, and structured approach to team leadership and player development.
As a player, he competed at the highest levels of Iranian football and futsal, representing leading clubs in the Premier League and earning international recognition as a member of the Iran National Futsal Team (1998–2001).
As a coach, Ali Imani is AFC Level 1, 2 & 3 licensed, holds an AFC Goalkeeping License, and has completed advanced international goalkeeping training in Brazil. His coaching career spans over 15 years, including roles as Head Coach and Goalkeeping Coach across top-tier Iranian leagues. He has also led a Specialized Goalkeeping Academy (2009–2018), contributing significantly to elite player development.
