PFF Media Release – September 5, 2025

Lahore – The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF), under the leadership of President Syed Mohsen Gilani, has officially approved a new logo that aims to more accurately reflect the national identity and heritage of Pakistan.

In reference to the logo, President Gilani noted that the previous emblem no longer aligns with Pakistan’s national prestige. “Our current logo does not represent the spirit, culture, or global image of Pakistan. There is a strong need for a visual identity that speaks to both our legacy and our future ambitions,” he stated.

The decision to redesign the PFF logo also aligns with the expectations of sponsors for a modern and representative symbol for Pakistan’s footballing aspirations. The new logo has been formally approved by the Executive Committee.

The logo is also a step forward in the PFF’s broader mission to revitalize football in Pakistan and strengthen its image on both the national and international stages.
