PFF president Gilani meets Chinese FA boss

Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) President Syed Mohsen Gilani met up with Chinese Football Association (CFA) President Song Kai, discussing initiatives to enhance football collaboration between Pakistan and China.

During the meeting, Song Kai congratulated Gilani on his recent appointment, expressing confidence in PFF’s new leadership and reaffirming China’s commitment to supporting Pakistan’s football development, reports received here stated.

Both sides emphasized the significance of their nations’ longstanding strategic partnership, highlighting how strong bilateral ties could serve as a foundation for deeper cooperation in football.

As part of their growing engagement, Song Kai extended an invitation for a PFF delegation to visit Beijing, where further discussions on collaboration, training exchanges, and development programs are expected to take place.

This meeting marks an important step in Pakistan’s efforts to elevate its football infrastructure, signaling potential future joint ventures between PFF and CFA.

Additionally, the PFF boss also received a warm congratulatory message from the football leadership of Saudi Arabia.

According to a PFF Press Release, Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) president Yasser Almisehal sent a message stating:

“On behalf of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, I would like to extend our sincere congratulations on your election as President of the Pakistan Football Federation. Your extensive experience in football will undoubtedly benefit the Pakistani football community and beyond your borders.”

In response to the congratulatory message, President PFF Mohsen Gilani expressed his gratitude:

“Thank you for your kind and thoughtful words regarding my election as President of the PFF. The longstanding relationship between our nations is truly commendable, and the PFF highly values the support and encouragement extended by SAFF.
