The Pakistan Football Federation announced a 27-member preliminary squad for Pakistan men’s national team’s upcoming 2027 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers final round Group E fixture against Myanmar.

Pakistan will face Myanmar at Yangon’s Thuwunna Stadium on 10 June 2025. Stephen Constantine returns as the MNT head coach and will lead the training sessions from 1 June before the final squad and coaching staff travel to Myanmar ahead of the 10 June fixture.

Most of the players that faced Syria in March have been retained. Forward Muhammad Waheed and defender Mohib Ullah Afridi make a return to the preliminary squad.

Dundee FC forward Rayan Mohammed from Scotland and Brønshøj BK attacker Ali Haider Shah from Denmark are the newest additions to the Shaheens squad.

Defenders Easah Suliman and Muhammad Sadam again miss out as they recover from their knee injuries, while midfielders Otis Khan, Imran Kayani, and goalkeeper Adam Khan miss out.

Pakistan was originally scheduled to host Myanmar at Jinnah Stadium Islamabad but both federations agreed to reverse the fixture to avoid any administrative complications arising from the PFF elections held on 27 May.
