PACA hold GPA in PFF League

KARACHI: The 12th Pakistan Football Federation League ‘B’ Division 2020 Final Round Departmental Leg saw only one game earlier today on Friday 16 October.

At the Drigh Road Union Stadium in Karachi, promotion challengers Gwadar Port Authority (GPA) were held 1-1 by Pak-Afghan Clearing Agency (PACA) to share the points.

During a cagey 90 minutes, PACA took the lead just before half-time through Kaleemullah in the 43rd minute. GPA responded in 2nd half thanks to a superb left-footed strike from long way out by Shahnawaz in 52nd minute.

However, no further goals for the rest of the game as PACA earned their first point of the PFF League season after 3 games while GPA are now on 7 points from 3 games.

Tomorrow, Saturday 16 October, Pakistan Railways take on Pakistan Police with Railways likely aiming for a first crucial win of the season against a struggling Police side. No other matches are planned for that day.

Among the 6 Department Leg teams, the top 3 will likely be promoted and join Club Leg winners Baloch FC Quetta for the 2021 Pakistan Premier Football League from the B Division.
