The first training camp of the Pakistan Football National team held under the supervision of Pakistan Football Federation Normalization Committee concluded after 15 days in KRL stadium, Rawalpindi. The camp started on 2nd January and concluded on the 16th of January. The camp was held in preparation of the tour to Malaysia that starts from 17th January and goes on till the 24th of January.
The training camp and the much anticipated tour to Malaysia was organized by the Pakistan Football Federation Normalization committee in an attempt to resume regular football activities in the country and provide the players with more opportunities to play international football. Before this the PFF NC sent the Under 19s team to Oman for the AFC U19 qualifiers in November and also organized the 12th National Women’s Football Championship’s qualifying and final rounds.
During the camp, the Chairman of the Pakistan Football Federation Normalization Committee Humza Khan also met with the players and told them about the performance that is expected from them and the opportunity that has been arranged to represent Pakistan on an international forum. The Chairman also added that the NC is trying hard to restore the state of football in the country and added that this Normalization committee is for the players.
