Karachi (Sports Reporter) The first phase of 13th Karachi Football League 2016 has been completed. 20 teams divided into 2 groups ‘A’ & ‘B’. Each team played 9 matches in their group. After completion of 90 matches. 4 Top teams of each group moved into Quarter Finals.
From Group ‘A’ Baloch Mujahid, Shafi XI Malir, Askani Brothers Baldia, Karachi United while Group ‘B’ Mauripur Baloch. All Brothers Malir, Jalal Murad Sharafi and Kalri Star Lyari qualified for Play Off.
Gulshan Soccer, Makran Sports, Lal Bakhsh Memorial, Chanesar Blue, Gulshan Ittehad Korangi and Lyari Centre got 5th to 10th position in Group ‘A’. Ghareeb Nazwaz Dalmia, Lyari Brothers , Defending Champion Burma Mohammadan, Sixteen Star, Young Aziz Abad and Bullay Jee Balloch have 5th to 10 position in Group ‘B’.
