KARACHI: Last edition runners up Korangi Baloch Sharafi thrilling win over Usmanabad Union 3-2 on penalty shoot out and qualified for Semi Final of 12th I am Karachi Football League here at Sixteen Star Football Ground, FB Area Karachi being organised by Karachi United Football Foundation.
The match remained 1-1 at full and extra time.
Korangi Baloch captain Abdul Hafeez converted a right winger Abdul Wahid cross into goal in 31st minute but speedy winger Mohammad Hussain equalised by a beautiful header 5 minutes later.
To make the match decisive on penalty shoot out in which Korangi Baloch availed 3 opportunities through Zainul abedin, Saeed Aziz and Abdul Jabbar while Usmanabad Union Babar Ali and M. Imran converted penalty kicks successfully.
Referee Javed Bangsh supervised the match while M. Anwer and Naseeruddin supported him on the line. Mr. Abdul Karim was the match commissioner.
