Japan Football Association has shown great interest in development of football in Pakistan: Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat President PFF:
“Japan is a true friend of Pakistan who has always come forward to support Pakistan in every walk of life. The people of Japan are highly hospitable and loving. Reflecting the Pakistan-Japan warm historic relations, Mr. Kuniya Daini President Japan Football Association along with Kohzo TASHIMA/Vice President and Executive General Secretary has shown great interest in the development of football in Pakistan”, said Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat President PFF, who headed a 2 member delegation of Pakistan Football Federation touring Japan with Lt. Col. Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi General Secretary PFF being the other member, after reaching Pakistan.
The President PFF further said that JFA is considering providing assistance to PFF as following
– Provision of Coach for the National Team of Pakistan.
– Improvement of Infrastructure
– Exchange of National teams
– Coach Education Programme
He also thanked JFA for the warm hospitality provided by them. The General Secretary PFF elaborating the visit told that Japan Football Association welcomed PFF delegation with open arms and during the discussions all the aspects relating to the mutually benefiting bondage between PFF and JFA were taken into account. He further said that PFF delegation during its visit to the football museum of Japan witnessed Japanese nation’s real love for football depicted in the artwork placed in the museum
During its visit, PFF delegation also met with HER IMPERIAL HIGHNESS PRINCESS TAKAMADO, Hon. Patron JFA at Nissan Stadium, Yokohama where she took keen interest in the progress and development of football in Pakistan.
The PFF delegation also visited Nissan Football Stadium Yokohama where a meeting was held between PFF officials and Japan League Chairman Mr. MITSURU MURAI during which the strengthening of Pakistan’s League and chances of bilateral cooperation were discussed.
