Pakistan Premier League champions KRL FC have signed Islamabad and Mehran star Murtaza Hussain after the departure of Kaleemullah to FC Dordoi Bishkek.
Murtaza, who is well-known in Islamabad football circles, had been coveted by a number of sides after his superb performance in the PFF League for HEC, where he was crowned the top scorer of the Club Leg. Playing professional has been Murtaza’s dream and he hopes to make the grade for KRL as they prepare for the upcoming National Challenge Cup and the AFC Presidents Cup.
“It’s every player’s dream to play for KRL FC in Pakistan,” the talented striker said while talking to FootballPakistan.com.
“I wanted to play good football and that’s why I have signed for KRL,” he added.
Murtaza, who is nursing a hamstring injury, is expected to make his competitive debut in the NBP National Challenge Cup that starts from the 25th of March.
