Lahore Pakistan, Thursday, May 23, 2013:
National Challenge Cup 2013 enters the Semi Final stage after witnessing the exciting encounters among top 16 teams of Pakistan Premier League (PPL) and Pakistan Football Federation League (PFFL).
According to the press release issued here by PFF. KRL the defending champions is out of the Cup after close encounter against National Bank of Pakistan in the third Quarter Final. KRL lost on Penalty Kicks 4:3. In the First Quarter Final WAPDA storms into the Semi Final after beating Army 1:0. In the Second Quarter Final KESC beat National U- 18 (Youth Team) after hard fought contest by 1:0. Experienced and Skillful Striker Muhammad Rasool of KESC scored the winning Goal in the 110th Minute of the extra time. In the fourth Quarter Final PAF showed their dominance and outclassed PACA (Pak Afghan Cleaning Agency) by 4:0.
On 24th May, 2013 WAPDA will clash with National Bank of Pakistan in the first Semi Final of the National Challenge Cup, 2013 whereas KESC and PAF will fight for the place in final in the second Semi Final of the National Challenge Cup 2013.
