Karachi United beat Irfan Memorial (Landhi) 4-2 while Burma Mohammedan (Korangi) beat hosts Baloch Mujahid (Ibrahim Hyderi) 1-0 in the resumed matches of the 10th Aman Sports Karachi Football League 2013 at the Baloch Mujahid Stadium.
Hassan Saad (6′) and Rehan Munir (27′) helped KUFC race to a 2-0 lead but Irfan Memorial responded well to equalise through Inam ul Haq (45+1′) and M Shafiq (71′) 2-2. But Rehan Munir scored twice more (84′, 89′) in the final minutes to help Karachi United win 4-2 and register the first hat-trick of the event.
Muhammad Raees’ diving header (68′) was enough to see Burma Mohammedan beat Baloch Mujahid 1-0 in the other game.
The results helped KUFC register their first win of the event to reach 4 points from 3 games. Burma Mohammedan have 7 points from 5 games. Irfan Memorial have 5 points from 4 games while Baloch Mujahid have 7points from 4 games.
Korangi Baloch Stadium will now host Kalri Star vs Burma Mohammadan while Baloch Mujahid Stadium will host Irfan Memorial vs Baloch Mujahid and Azam Sports vs Karachi United.
