KFL: Korangi Baloch smash Rovers 4-0

Home side Korangi Baloch FC (Sharafi) topped the table of 10th Aman Sports Karachi Football League 2013 with a thumping 4-0 win over FC Rovers (Malir Cantt). 2 goals in each half saw Korangi Baloch earn 3 points thanks to strikes by Amjad Anjum (38′), Aqeel Ahmed (44′ and 85′), and Asghar Baloch (90′).

The other game saw Irfan Memorial (Landhi) hold Al-Shabaz (Korangi) 1-1. Al-Shabaz took the lead thanks to Muhammad Rafique (52′) after a defensive mix-up between Irfan Memorial defenders Khurram Shehzad and M Tahir. But Irfan Memorial bounced back to equalise through Abdur Rehman (75′) and share the points in the end. The game was attended by DFA East President, Abdul Aziz, as chief guest.

The results meant Korangi Baloch, Al-Shabaz, and FC Rovers finished 3 games each. Korangi Baloch have 7 points to be on top thanks to a better goal difference than Baloch Mujahid FC, Al-Shabaz have 3 points, and FC Rovers have yet to register any. Irfan Memorial have 4 points from 2 games.

Referees were Saeed Alam, Umar Baloch, Imran Hussain, Ishaq Usman, Asad Mehmood, and match commissioner HM Hanif.
