10TH AKU INTER-UNIVERSITY FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT SEMI-FINALS TODAY
Karachi: The following teams qualified for the Semi Finals of 10th AKU Inter-University Football Tournament being organized by AKU Sports Centre at the AKU Football Ground. Pakistan Naval Engineering College (PNEC) will take on Institute of Business Management (IoBM) while Institute of Business Administration (IBA) will play against the host Aga Khan University (AKU) on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 3:00 pm and 5:30 pm respectively.
The quarter final matches were played yesterday of the Tournament. The results were as follows:
QUARTER FINAL MATCH # 1
PNEC-NUST KARACHI (PNEC) Vs SHAHEED ZULFIQAR ALI BHUTTO INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY (SZABIST)
PNEC won the match on Penalty Kicks, Score 04, 01 Goals. At the end of the time, Score was 0 – 0 each. Then the result came out on 5 penalty kicks each.
Individual Score of Winner Team
Najam Shah, Shazli Tahir, Arsalan Khan & Sohaib Aziz 01 Goals each (penalty kicks) While Paras Musavi 01 Goal (penalty kicks) were scorer for the looser.
QUARTER FINAL MATCH # 2
INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS MANAGEMENT (IoBM) Vs PAF-KARACHI INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY (PAF-KIET)
IoBM won the match by Score 04, 00 Goals. At half time, Score was 02 – 0 Goals in favour of IoBM.

1. Hamza Shahid 02 Goals (10th & 39th min). 2. Zain Khan and Asim Masood 01 Goals each (10th & 60th min)

INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATON (IBA) Vs HAMDARD UNIVERSITY (HU)
IBA won the match on Penalty Kicks, Score 06, 04 Goals. At the end of the time, Score was 02 – 02 each. Then the result came out on 5 penalty kicks each. At half time, Score was 02 – 01 Goals in favour of IBA.

AGA KHAN UNIVERSITY (AKU) Vs ZIAUDDIN UNIVERSITY (ZU)
AKU won the match on Penalty Kicks, Score 05, 04 Goals. At the end of the time, Score was 02 – 02 each. Then the result came out on 5 penalty kicks each. At half time, Score was 01 – 01 Goals each.
