The first two quarter-finals of the 2011 National U19 Football Championship were decided at MTFC Ground in Lahore today on 18 Sept 2011.
The first quarter-final with 1500 hrs kick off saw Quetta AID-27 team overcome Lahore AID-27 team 2-0 thanks to a brace from Jahanzeb in first half. Quetta AID-27 go through to semi-finals of the competition.
In second quarter-final at 2030 hrs kick off, Sindh FA beat Islamabad FA 2-1 to go through to semi-finals. Sindh FA had Abdul Salam to thank for his 2 goals while only Mujtaba could score for Islamabad FA in final minutes of the game.
The remaining two quarter-finals will be played tomorrow 19 Sept 2011 at MTFC Ground: Faisalabad AID-27 face Bannu AID-27 at 1500 hrs, while Karachi AID-27 face Balochistan FA at 2030 hrs.
