KARACHI: Pakistan held India to a 1-1 draw and defeated Nepal 1-0 in their matches of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Under-13 Festival of Football held in Yazd in Iran on Friday.
As per information available to ‘The News’, Pakistani youngsters did a fine job to hold India to a 1-1 draw in their game of the Format-1 of thirty minutes duration. However, Pakistani kids were able to beat Nepal 1-0 in the Format-2 to take their points tally to eight from five matches which they have played so far.
Meanwhile, in the third game of the day, Pakistan went 0-1 down against Afghanistan. The vital clash between Pakistan and Iran was in progress till filing of this story. The other day, Pakistan had defeated Nepal 2-0 and held Bangladesh to a 2-2 draw.
