The 8th Karachi Football League 2010-11 witnessed Burma Mohammadan (Korangi) record their first victory of their campaign when they beat Shabaz Green (Banaras) 4-0. In other fixture defending champions Chanesar Blue were held goal-less by venue hosts Baloch Mujahid at Baloch Mujahid Stadium in Ibrahim Hyderi, Karachi. Muhammad Imran of Burma Mohdn (2 goals vs Shabaz Green) and Shazad Majeed of Baloch Mujahid won man of the match awards from KFL organising secretary Riaz Ahmed.
Muhammad Imran gave his side the lead when he scored from a rebound after Shabaz Green goalie Asif Noor parried a Saifullah shot onto his path in 5th minute. In second half, Noor Alam (52nd min), Muhammad Imran (75th min) and Muhammad Jaffar (88th min) scored again for Burma Mohammadan as they ran away 4-0 winners to earn 3 precious points from 3 games so far while Shabaz Green remain point-less after 3 games.
Despite an action packed game, Chanesar Blue and Baloch Mujahid failed to score against each other in a 0-0 draw which included Baloch Mujahid midfielder Umer Bakhsh missing a penalty in 11th minute. Chanesar Blue are on 7 points from 4 games, Baloch Mujahid are on 6 points from 4 games.
