It is honor that PFF is comprised of coaches who cleared A, B and C certificates and most of them are getting modern techniques and latest innovation under Course Conductor Georg Kottan.” this is stated by PFF Director Operation Wng Cmdr ® Pervaiz Saeed Mir as Chief Guest during Opening Ceremony of PFF Special Refresher Coaching Course today at FIFA Football House, Ferozpur Road, Lahore.
The Course has been launched under the directive of PFF President Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat to refresh and analyze the movement and commitment of 27 youth football coaches working under the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) AID-27 Financial Assistance Scheme.” It is luck for 27 attendants that they will learn high-profile coaching tips and training from a famous coach who is among eight coaches to win gold in SAFF Championship, known as World Cup of South Asia. Austria-based Pakistan National Football team head Coach Georg Kottan will lay out Plan for future program related to AFC AID-27 coaches and establishment of PFF Youth Development Centers (PFFYDC) during the 14-day Course,’ added Mir, whose idea of PFF Youth Cup for AFC AID-27 coaches was approved by PFF Chief two years ago. It met success as PFF have a large Pool of talented players in Age Group from U13 to U18. The fourth edition, limited for U16 players, is in progress throughout country.
Mir added : “ the aim of Course will enhance the know-how of Coaches on Grass Root and Youth Development level. PFF appointed twenty-seven AFC A, B and C-Certificate Coaches as Youth coaches to spot, select and train potential U13 to U16 players as part of PFF Grass Root & Youth Development Program. All coaches will also present Progress Report as well as presentations about their routine activities of PFFYDC to coach Georg Kottan during Course.
